Distribution Terms & Conditions

Welcome to DAMON™'s Distribution Services. By choosing our services, you agree to the following terms:

Royalty Agreement: You agree to provide us with 20% of your royalties as payment for our distribution services. This royalty agreement can be removed if the client agrees to pay the distribution fee.
Liability Disclaimer: DAMON™ is not responsible for any failure of your music to appear on music platforms. While we facilitate distribution, the final decision lies with the respective platforms.
Withdrawal Threshold for Aruban Citizens: If you are an Aruban citizen, a minimum earnings amount of $50 is required before you can withdraw your royalties.
Amuse™ Royalty: Amuse™ has its own royalty splits. At the time of making these terms and conditions, the fee is 15%.
Rights and Ownership: The original creator(s) retain full ownership of all music distributed for the client. DAMON™ reserves the right to use snippets of the recordings for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
Label: When distributing music, DAMON™ will be set as the label for recognition. If the client wants this changed, the client must pay our distribution fee.
Distribution Fee: If the client does not want to give up 20% as a royalty fee, the client can pay AWG 25. This fee also applies if the client wants to change the label when uploading their music.
Originality Term: The client MUST be the owner of the creation and must have all licenses needed for distribution. If the client provides false information to DAMON™ and authorizes us to distribute their music, they will be held responsible for any issues (e.g., copyright strikes or lawsuits). The client will face all consequences and bear all associated fees.
Indemnity: The client agrees to indemnify and hold DAMON™ harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from the distribution of their music.
Account Ownership: DAMON™ holds 50% ownership of the account, meaning we are half owner of the artist's account.
Open-Balance Policy:
1. If an artist has an open balance, DAMON™ is allowed to keep all royalties.
2. If an open balance isn't paid within 3 months, all songs distributed on the account of the artist (by DAMON™, a third party, or the artist themselves) will be copyright-struck or removed from platforms, and DAMON™ will retain 100% ownership of the account.
3. If an artist tries to use the account that we made with an open balance, we are allowed to remove that release, which means the account will be reset to 0 streams, 0 followers, and 0 metrics. We are not allowed to copyright that song, but we will remove it from the account we made for the artist.
4. If an artist wants to recover their account in the future, an additional fee of up to AWG 300 could be charged, and all open balances must be paid off. In that case, the artist will receive access to their account back, and we will reinstate the 50% ownership.
Royalty Cut Responsibility: The artist is responsible for their royalty cut. We will give the artist access to their account the day the account is made, and we will provide them with their royalties before or within a week after the release is live. If an artist doesn't accept their royalty split on time, DAMON™ is not liable nor responsible for the losses incurred.
Amendments: DAMON™ reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes by email or a website update.

By using DAMON™'s Distribution Services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
